Why This Benchmark Matters
No industry benchmark exists for residential real estate AI readiness. Enterprise commercial real estate has MetaProp Labs and JLL research, but individual agents and small teams have no data-driven baseline for understanding where they stand relative to peers.
This benchmark will answer questions like: What percentage of agents have documented follow-up processes? What's the average readiness score by brokerage type? Which dimension is the most common gap? How does AI usage correlate with readiness?
What We're Measuring
Every assessment completion contributes anonymized data across 5 dimensions:
- Technology Infrastructure — CRM usage, lead source integration, automation, phone systems
- Process Maturity — documented workflows, response time, conversion tracking
- Data Readiness — contact centralization, source attribution, data hygiene
- Team Capacity — available time, learning comfort, team willingness
- Budget Alignment — tool budget, lead volume, transaction volume
Plus demographic context: role, team size, brokerage type, current CRM, and AI usage level.
Methodology
The assessment uses a weighted scoring model (Process Maturity 25%, Technology Infrastructure 20%, Data Readiness 20%, Budget Alignment 20%, Team Capacity 15%) to produce a readiness score between 0 and 100. Weights were derived from implementation research showing that process maturity is the strongest predictor of successful AI tool adoption.
Benchmark statistics will be reported only after sufficient sample size is reached (minimum 25 completions). All individual responses are anonymized before aggregation. No individual data is ever shared or sold.
